Toga Virilis

Toga Virilis is the menswear division of Tokyo-based brand Toga Pulla which was launched in Paris in 1997. The label grew out of designer Yasuko Furuta’s love of vintage fashion having become the industries best kept secret and gained a huge cult following amongst the in the know crowd thanks to their reworking elements of femininity into classically male urban western, deconstructed and avant-garde look. Furuta’s use of contrasting textures, colours, prints, and materials add a depth to garments that toe the line between formal and casual.
