KNWLS, originally known as Charlotte Knowles, is a South London-based fashion label established in 2017 by Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault, who crossed paths at Central Saint Martins. The brand underwent a rebranding in 2021 to become KNWLS, reflecting a refined vision and an evolution in its identity. KNWLS is renowned for its distinctive approach to femininity, characterised by an empowered and disruptive vision that intertwines elements of danger and sensuality. The label challenges traditional notions of femininity by merging delicate, sensual elements such as their soft sheer fabrics with more aggressive, industrial influenced cuts & design.
